(06.10.09) Designer John Bartlett and fashion plate/host Tim Gunn of Project Runway were in Chicago at Bucktown's hottest newest eatery, The Bristol. Bartlett has created a new men's line for Claiborne (available at Carson's) that totes the slogan, "Work in your play clothes. Play in your work clothes." Tim Gunn has been shaking up the fashion scene since he recently left Parson's to head the new Claiborne brands as chief creative director. (Isaac Mizrahi also recently ditched Target to sign up with the label.) Probably one of the nicest (and most stylish) guys ever!A few words with Mr. Gunn...
- Favorite thing to do in Chicago? "I love Chicago. The shopping is great and I like going to the museums. [The new Modern Wing] is on my list."
- Did you know Christian was just here? "I know! It seems our paths just miss each other over and over."
- Best places for men's shirts? "John Bartlett for Claiborne or Hugo Boss."
